Product Overview

AY type oil pump is divided into six types: single-stage single-suction, two-stage single-suction cantilever type, single-stage double-suction cantilever type, single-stage double-suction and two-stage double-suction two-support type, two-stage single-suction two-support type, etc. The shell is radially dissected, especially suitable for conveying high temperature and high pressure as well as flammable, explosive or toxic liquid.

The selected materials are refined, the main body is mainly made of Class II and III materials, and the bearing body and other parts are increased to cast steel and cast iron, providing favorable conditions for open-air use in cold areas and for marine use.

There are three kinds of bearings: air-cooled, fan-cooled and water-cooled, which are selected according to the different temperatures of the pump. The fan-cooled type is especially used in areas with water shortage or poor water quality.

Structural Features

It is installed with horizontal centerline support. The suction port flange and discharge port flange of the pump are cast on the pump body, and both face upward vertically. The shaft seal cavity (stuffing box) and pump cover are cast into one piece, which can be filled with material seal and balance type, bellows type, tandem type mechanical seal. The shaft seal cavity is cast with optional water-cooled cavity jacket outside. The water-cooled cavity must be equipped with special requirements or used when the temperature of the conveyed medium is water over 66℃ and hydrocarbon temperature over 150℃.

The impeller is cast as a whole and dynamically balanced, and the axial force of the pump is mainly balanced by the balance hole of the impeller.

The bearing body is equipped with a set of radial ball bearings and a set of back-to-back mounted thrust ball bearings, the bearings are lubricated with thin oil by oil throwing ring, and the outer surface of the bearing body is cast with heat sink, which can be cooled by air (T<120℃), and fan cooling (T=120℃~260℃) and water cooling (T=260℃~420℃) are also available.

In order to easily remove the impeller, shaft, bearing, shaft seal and other parts without dismantling the suction or discharge pipeline during pump maintenance, AY type oil pump adopts flexible diaphragm type extended coupling parts.
